All hands on deck at White Rock Volkswagen as dealership staffers, local Rotary volunteers and Gordie Hogg, MP for South Surrey White Rock pitch in to support The Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society.

Take a selfie with your local MP, and support the volunteer drivers who take cancer patients to their medical appointments for free.  The price is by donation. The results can be life-saving.

“We’re grateful for the tremendous support from White Rock Volkswagen and Rotary as well as from many members of the business community who put up our posters.  We’re looking forward to a really fun and successful event,” said Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society president, Bob Smith.

A little information Shred Events:

A Community Shred Events gives people the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed on site. Whether its small business documents that are no longer needed or personal papers that need to be safely disposed of, 1-800-Shredding can destroy it all safely and securely on-site! The Mobile Shredding Truck arrives at the location of the Community Shred Event, and people bring their important documents to us for destruction. The same secure, compliant destruction method delivered to our regular clients is delivered to residents on a community level. Community Shred Events also increase the awareness of the risk of Identity Theft! Identity Theft, which is the fastest growing crime in North America. Every minute about 19 people fall victim to identity theft. Shred events bring people together to learn about information security and the importance of document destruction.

Experts suggest you shred:

Our Volunteer BBQ was held on Saturday, September 12th in Langley and was a terrific event made possible by the many donors listed below. As it turned out it was a great 'No Cost' BBQ, recognizing our Drivers and Dispatchers who will see over 6600 Patient Trips conducted this year.
